I’ve been using ZenOK Free Antivirus as my personal security software and I can say it has prevent my PC from spyware and virus.

i been using Microsoft Security Essentials for the last year and half i can say its really good i been virus free since i have had Essentials if you havent got i suggest you get it as its Free and its really fast best of all it dont use much of the Ram unlike other antivirus programs.. Microsoft Security Essentials Rocks!!

The sooner you get the OEM Norton or McAfee off a new PC the better. These guys rely on their strong OEM foothold instead of making sure their products are tip top.
For consumers, there are only really three to choose from – Nod32, Kaspersky and BitDefender.

Free antivirus is OK, but what it costs for support when things go wrong far outweighs the price you’d pay for a commercial licence. http://www.antivirusmarket.co.uk are selling bitDefender antivirus for about 12 quid at the moment.

have tried mcafee,norton,avg etc.but the one that kicked them all into touch was A-squared.Easy to use ,found viruses both mcafee and norton never picked up.Well worth giving the 30 day trial a go,what have you got to lose.I also had spyhunter but A-squared made it redundant!

i use norton security scan, do you think that it is good because i got a virus on msn and everytime i sign into msn the virus sends a link to every person that is online and when i sign out it sends it as well. i don’t no what to do. i scan my file everyday, but itseems to not work, it doesn’t go. could you help me get rid of it.

I have been using Avast for 4 years now. I used to have AVG but I got 3 backdoor trojan viruses in the time that I used it, so a colleague at Computacenter recommended Avast. Arrr, Avast ye indeed. In the 4 years I have been using it I have not had a virus infect my system, so I have not had the need to remove any viruses. One thing about Avast however is that when I try to run a full system scan it never seems to get past 48% these days. Maybe my system is a little on the large size with 4 hard drives but it does stop anything getting onto the PC in the first place so I would recommend Avast Home edition to anyone.

I am using at home the AVG Free Edition – last time I checked it was among the few antiviruses which were both free and officialy compatible with Vista..
About “tweaking” it’s nothing special: I think most if not all antiviruses have some option to disable the file scanning engine and to leave only other components enabled (email scanner, etc.)

Hey Guys!
In my opinion, the best antivirus in the world are the followings:-

1. McaFee Antivirus
2. ZoneAlarm Antivirus

But i am not really sure that which type of antivirus will be best for my PC. So Please tell me the one antivirus software which is the best in the above antiviruses.
