mydigitallife.info stole my code

I wrote a little script for an article on fixr.co.uk entitled “Remove OGA Notifier“.

Today I discovered that mydigitallife.info had clearly taken details from my batch file code and used it without giving me or fixr.co.uk any credit at all.

Just compare the actual functions in my removeoga.bat to their RemoveOGA.bat, you can clearly see it’s the same, yet no credit is given at all.

mydigitallife.info is LAME.

Taking someone else’s code and not giving any credit for it is LAME, yes mydigitallife.info is lame and I will be boycotting your site until further notice.

Simply copy this into a notepad window, and save as “mydigitallife_boycott.bat”, then run it.

Anyway, I’ve since improved my batch file to support more versions and languages, so if you copy that too, I’ll be on to you!

   I’m surprised this isn’t all over the My Digital Life forums, talking about how they ripped you off. First rule is always give credit where it’s due. The least they could do is leave a comment, but they couldn’t even do that! Epic lame

   Totally ridiculous. Why do people do this on the internet? Because they’re lazy, they want to look smart, or look like they invented it themselves? This is kind of similar to the website called ArcadePreHacks.com, they illegally decompile other people’s flash files and alter the actionscript without permission. They should be taken down like a turkey before the thanksgiving roast.
